About the Role:

Jetty Extracts is looking for a Washroom Technician to support our processing team in Albany, NY.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in physically demanding conditions, including cold and damp environments, while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency.

Reports To: General Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Open and close the wash room, including full breakdown and cleaning at the end of each day

• Thoroughly clean wash bags after each collection (typically 4 collections per wash, 2 washes per day)

• Prepare hash for pressing throughout the workday

• Maintain cleanliness across all work areas, including wash room, freeze dryer room, press room, sink room, and other solventless processing areas

• Follow all PPE requirements and lab safety protocols at all times

• Adhere to all applicable local, state, and Cannabis Regulatory Agency regulations

• Monitor processes and escalate any issues or concerns to management

• Support team workflow to ensure efficient and consistent production output

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Strong understanding of solventless cannabis products and processes

• Experience working in a manufacturing, lab, or production environment

• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail

• Strong teamwork and communication skills

• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to work in a damp, ~40°F environment for extended periods (majority of an 8-hour shift)

• Willingness to work extended hours when needed based on production demands

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly throughout the workday

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time

• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)

• Ability to follow SOPs and maintain accurate workflows
